Pros and cons of Sid Meier's Pirates! app for iPhone and iPad

Sid Meier's Pirates! app good for

Great port 2k! Plz fix fight aboard, change slide attack , and plz add Russian translation
One of the best games you can play on the App Store, however on iPhone 6/6s plus the screen size is slightly smaller than the native resolution; it does not affect the playability, but it would be more visually appealing if it would fit.
Please fix a bug where the grandfather is rescued and hes telling about a map to an Aztec treasure and once the arrow button is pushed the game freezes. This is a great game based on original. Please fix bug!! :-)
Its a really fun game. Would be five star but repetitive. I still recommend download.
It would be nice to have an update so it fits the full screen on my 6 plus.
Please fix the part where you damage the ship to much the game auto exits also would like to see a little more when bombarding a town like in the original pc version but other then the morning minor flaws the game is great and the pc version is even better. If its not possible for the update its understandable of how the graphics on the iphone can be limited especially of how games can be a battery eater.

Some bad moments

This is a awesome game that you cant play due to constant crashing... I looked forward to this game when I finally purchased it I cant play it.... Enjoy developers... Its the last of my hard earned cash youll ever get.
Everything else in the game works good like navigating and its just like the PC version but the sword fighting part is near impossible to get used to.
This game does not work with the new iOS at all, the sword fights are impossible because the touch screen doesnt pick up my swipes. I love this game please release an update for it
Most of the game is fun and the graphics are nice. It contains most of what the PC version contains. However, once my character gets past 20 years, sword fights become impossible to win. No matter which sword I use or what tactics I try, I can see the orange and blue lines on the screen that indicate my attempt at a hit or defense, but the guy just stands there unmoving. So I cannot go forward with the game and it has become unplayable. Once this is fixed I will be happy to change the review to 5 stars. A nice-to-have would be a way to skip the cutscenes. It gets a bit annoying seeing the same ones over and over and waiting for them to end.
Eh guys ! You forgot to copy the translation files from the PC version.....
I purchased for the nostalgia but found clunky controls and lackluster play. Dont buy.
